Short description:

  • The vehicle was handed over to Christian Abt Classic on behalf of the customer

  • An extensive and time-consuming full restoration was carried out to achieve a like-new condition

  • All add-on parts of the vehicle such as the chassis, braking system, electrical system and interior are new or have been extensively refurbished

  • Vehicle was repainted according to customer requirements and the original leather interior was remade

  • Completion was in February 2020

  • Finally, a full TÜV inspection, an H report and a valuation report with grade 1 were issued

  • Extensive photo documentation was created covering the entire restoration process

Restoration overview


The vehicle was completely disassembled and the bodyshell was completely stripped, re-primed and then repainted in the original Rosso Corsa color. All body parts have been revised and readjusted. All seals were replaced. Trim parts were revised and recoated.



The interior was completely renovated according to customer requirements.

The leather was chosen exclusively for this vehicle in the highest quality; the carpet is also custom-made.



The vehicle wiring harness was completely cleaned, overhauled, and defective and corroded connectors and cables were replaced.

The fuse box and all relays were checked or replaced.

The DE headlight kit was manufactured and adapted by us exclusively for this vehicle.


engine and gears

The engine was completely disassembled and overhauled. Pistons and cylinders were renewed and the crank mechanism was completely revised. The cylinder heads were completely overhauled and checked. All engine parts were carefully blasted, valve covers and intake pipes were recoated. All transmission parts were checked and wearing parts were replaced.

The exhaust system was made of stainless steel and the original exhaust manifolds received ceramic insulation from professional motorsport. All screws and small parts were newly galvanized or replaced. All fuel lines were manufactured and replaced exclusively for us at ATEC.

The high-performance aluminum water coolers are also custom-made and replace the original coolers with plastic housings that are no longer available.



All axle parts were blasted and subjected to a crack test before plastic coating.

Chassis bearings were replaced without exception and all original chassis screws were checked and re-galvanized.

The shock absorbers were overhauled by the manufacturer and the suspension springs were replaced.

The steering was completely overhauled and all wearing parts were replaced. An electric servo support was retrofitted.

The original rims were stripped of paint and repainted in several layers with a high gloss.

The wheel bolts are exclusively custom-made from titanium.


Braking systems​

The original brake system was replaced by a Brembo brake system and milled with the Ferrari logo according to customer requirements.
